This year, mDAC Summit brings you talks, workshops and master-classes from renowned speakers around the world. There are 2 tracks: Mobile Digital Art Track and Mobile Creativity Track.
The Mobile Digital Art Track focuses primarily on creation of digital art work using key mobile art apps! Good fit for anyone who wants a deep dive into the world of mobile art !
The Mobile Creativity Track focuses on the creative aspect of mobile devices including basic digital art creation to animation to 3D printing, caricature, mobile art photo manipulation and more.
Attendees can attend any session from either of these two tracks based on their interest.

Sketch Club Explored: The Art of Drawing From Life Learn how to draw from life on your iPad using the powerful, versatile and responsive iOS app Sketch Club. Enjoy working from a live model. You will be led in art exercises designed to help you loosen up on the digital canvas and draw what you see. On the technical side, by the end of this class you will know how to : -Navigate around the Sketch Club interface and choose between the gallery, drawing and community views; -Open a new canvas, selecting your size and orientation; -Introduce interesting organic backgrounds to draw over; -Choose, adjust and customize the wide range of brushes and brush looks; -Pick and fine tune color using the color wheel and color swatch options; -Work on multiple layers, controlling their visibility, opacity and blending modes; -Record, playback and share your entire creative process; Fasten your seat belt and be ready for an action packed and very fun drawing class!!

Creating Comics with the iPad — The iPad has transformed the way you read comics but did you know you can create comic art on the iPad too? See a comic book character come to life as Brian Miller (Batman: Arkham Knight) and Kristy Miller (Doctor Who) demonstrate step-by-step how to pencil, ink, and paint comics on the iPad. Learn the basic tools and techniques including which apps work best and how you too can transform your iPad into a portable art studio. Q&A session.
