Following the grand opening of the mDAC 2016 Exhibition on Friday Night, 12th August, the weekend of activities kicks off at 9am on Saturday 13th August with a brief keynote speech by Chief Google Doodler Matt

Directly after this keynote speech (and before the first workshop) we plan to host a panel discussion covering the subject of mobile digital painting and photography and its impact on the world of fine art and art education. This has generated a great deal of comments in the art world to date, and we will be streaming the panel live so people can check in and listen to what is being discussed.

We have 5 panelists from a specific area within the overall field: iPhoneography, iPad/mobile painting, art education and app development. The moderator will be Maria Cerrone, chief community manager of Mobile Art Academy.
