Mobile Digital Painting Exhibition 2016 - Jury Panel
Jaime Sanjuan is a Spanish digital artist who has spent hours painting incredibly realistic digital paintings on his tablet with nothing more than his own fingers. His work has been featured in newspapers and blogs around the world - ABC in Spain, La Repubblica in Italy, Washington Post in the US or Isuta in Japan and New York's Epoch Times.
He was on the cover of the NBC Turkey's website and ,"Trends" magazine places him as one of the must-see artists 2015. He has been interviewed by "Page magazine" in Germany, "Shots" in England, "Characters" in Mexico, "Van Magazine" in Lithuania as well as "Xataka" and "Sonymage" in Spain. Jaime has received some of the most prestigious awards in digital painting: “American Illustration 2016”, “Communication Arts 2015” and mDAC Summit 2014 people´s choice award! Currently, while continuing to finger paint on his iPad, Jaime is a professor at the University of Zaragoza and is writing his doctoral thesis on art and new technologies. Born in Sydney, Australia, Ivy emigrated with her family to the US where she received a BFA in Illustration from the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. After meeting and marrying her husband Chris, Ivy moved to in Portand Oregon where she raised a family of two daughters and a cat. A few years ago, Ivy reconnected with her artistic roots and began taking online art classes. Pretty soon she couldn’t stop making Art. Painting, collage, sketching and digital illustrations using her iPad. Since then she has become a working artist and her online mixed media and popular mobile art classes have become an international success. Andy Butler is a UK iPhone photographer and founder of the website, Mobiography.net and editor of the supporting Mobiography Magazine, a long running digital publication dedicated to the subject of mobile photography.He is a passionate advocate of mobile photography and through the Mobiography website and magazine is able to explore the world of mobile photography, showcasing the talents of the many individuals within this emerging genre.
Andy is also a member of the social photography collective, Grryo.com, and in 2015 spoke on the subject of mobile photography and digital publishing at MOJOCon, the first international Mobile Journalism Conference in Dublin, Ireland. Dan Cristea, is a Photographer and Designer from Toronto, Canada who has produced work for companies such as Tiffany’s & Co., Greygoose Vodka, CONTACT Scotia Bank Photo Exhibit and RGA. His work has been published in the New York Times, PHOTO Mag, Out Of The Phone and various international books and magazines. He is also the co-founder of the international mobile photography group, Tiny Collective.
Dan Rubin is a London-based designer and photographer. One of Instagram’s earliest beta testers and a speaker at the world’s first mobile photography conference, 1197, his work was featured in iTunes upon Instagram’s launch and he has become one of the most-followed, non-celebrity mobile photographers, with more than half a million followers on Instagram alone. He is editor-at-large and co-founder of The Photographic Journal host and creator of Meet The iPhone Photographer, a monthly interview series at the Regent Street Apple Store in London (http://fb.me/meettheiphonephotographer), curator and co-creator of the portrait photography exhibition 100 | 50 | 1 (http://100-50-1.is), and travels the world on photographic commissions for select clientele including American Express, Barbour, Ducati, O2, RedBull, Starwood Hotels, Williams Martini, and more.
